Been wanting to shop for a good cause? Here's you chance!

Something old, something new (SOSN) is a social enterprise under the umbrella of Singapore Anglican Community Services (SACS). Be prepared to find both pre-loved and also new conditioned clothing  as low as $2.00, that's not all, they do have accessories, shoes and bags too! I received 2 outfits from them a few weeks back, and I'm amazed that I can get such good quality dresses from a thrift store! thumbs up ;) 

Here's an outfit I have received.

It feels as good as new, and so comfortable! thank you SOSN :) 


Here's a little more about SOSN:
   -  SOSN has a business concept of a thrift shop whereby SOSN receives donated items, whether new or used, from the public.
 - The social cause of SOSN is to provide employment opportunities for members with psychiatric disabilities which assists them in their journey towards long-term recovery. SOSN, started in 2000, is now run by full-time staff, volunteers and psychiatric members of Simei Care Centre. 
  - The sale proceeds will be channeled back to Simei Care Centre to support the psychiatric rehabilitation services and workshops that are beneficial to our clients.

Now's your turn! SOSN will be holding their annual Flea Market event on 29th March 2014,
and guess what, not only can you shop for beautiful clothes, do a good deed, there will be a lineup of very exciting performances, including hip hop and K-pop dance performances, NUS Kent Ridge Hall house band, Ocarina (music) performance, Song items by a former Campus Superstar contestant, Balloon sculpting, and a Zumba performance which you can participate in as well. The highlight of the day - you get to witness many beauty bloggers walking down the fashion runway! 
 
Unfortunately due to work commitments, I do not have such blessing to be able there to witness all these, but I sure hope you guys can give your support to the people who worked very hard for this event, just to help those with mental illnesses in their rehabilitation.  :')  
I really wish I could be there!
