• Outdoor Grandview Public • I’m enjoying the customer service here as much as I can before I head back😂 but ok on a serious note I wanted to share this for the longest time- I’ve been doing my lashes with @diownbeauty ever since knowing @wendycallanta which dates back about 1 year plus and I’ve watched how much she’s grown running her own business and also on the Creative end. Pretty lashes can be done by many but to do it so well and in such a quick time is efficiency to no others. I’ve been to lash places which takes 45mins for lash removal and 2 hours for the basic lash extension(😫) while Wendy does both of these in 1 hour (which really really helps busy bees like me). Her speed and quality of work is insane, not even trying to exaggerate (you can try it for your own). I’m sure I’m not the only one who will say that. I’ve also seen how she kept pushing herself to make sure she provides the best both on customer service side (consultations are all provided to make sure you get lashes that suit your face shape best) and for her lashes- now I have her newest Sakura silk lashes on me which is like the softest and the most natural lashes I’ve ever felt(!!!) and I absolutely love it. We have been very blessed with good weather in Florida- we get some chilly mornings and nights but it’s has all been good. So we take a good 15 minutes walk to the studio every day we had workshop. Then we did the same as the day ended, funny story: we were already taking photos of the cotton candy sky as the sun set and as we take a turn we were greeted by THIS. Okay last one on the rose (for now) I promise! Thanks to Facebook for the reminder, it reminded me of my work 4 years ago (see IG stories) People usually ask me do I prefer working alone or with a team- what do I say? Having tried both, I like both! There’s so much to learn from working in a team, from one another (skill set, attitude, all the good and bad) and from everyday’s operations, you tend to see new perspective from a 3rd party you never thought of- I’ve learnt so much from my team members I never once knew I could learn/ absorb (both good and bad)(beauty of meeting new people) while working alone allows me to be fully present solely just to myself, focusing on the very craft you do: you get so much more me-time and personal space (emotionally and physically lol) to work on yourself. WELL. Everything has its good and bad. Learning to balance is key! Definitely still learning! 🙇🏻‍♀️ #sugarflowers #craft #handmade

Cherry blossoms. Because my feed is filled with this season’s blooms that I’ve yet to witness in real life (keeping fingers cross that I still can catch the blooms in Washington D.C. in a few weeks’ time!). Every single petal, bloom and bud handmade from sugar paste- a skill set I first picked up from YouTube and fine tuned throughout the years (see IG stories for my cherry blossoms a few years back)- After 4 Long Years- this trip is made extra special because I’m going back to where it all started, where I did my cake decorating internship with @maggieaustincake, who taught me so much & still continues to be my very amazing inspiration and mentor. 💞 #dreamchaser #sugarflowers #handmade
